Annual Golf Tournament

Annual Golf Tournament:

A Benefit for Center for Positive Aging

For the past 24 years on Columbus Day (Monday, October 14, 2019), the Center for Positive Aging has hosted an annual golf tournament. This event is held in honor of Harry G. Haisten Jr., a long-time member of North Avenue Presbyterian Church. Harry is avid golfer who exemplifies positive aging. He has been the champion for ensuring this golf event happens in support of the Center’s work.

This year, the golf event will be held at the RiverPines Golf Club in Johns Creek. By supporting our annual golf tournament, you make it possible for the Center to educate and connect consumers, in particular older Georgians and their families, on how to access products, services and programs they need in their communities. Additionally, proceeds will provide educational opportunities for seniors, family caregivers, paraprofessionals, and professionals to foster support of the positive aging process as well as to empower the elderly.
