Annual Golf Tournament

For 14 years, the Center for Positive Aging has held an annual golf tournament at Charlie Yates Golf Course at East Lake. One of our most successful fundraisers, the Abe Massar Memorial Golf Tournament is held on Columbus Day each year.

Abe Massar was a member of Lutheran Church of the Redeemer and an avid golfer. He exemplified positive aging and played in his last tournament at age 89. Our tournament is a fitting tribute to Abe Massar, who not only supported the Center for Positive Aging, but served as an example to all of us.
