Center for Positive Aging Annual Golf Tournament

For the past 16 years on Columbus Day (Monday, October 8, 2012), the Center for Positive Aging has hosted the annual Abe Massar Memorial Golf Fundraiser at the Charlie Yates Golf Course at East Lake. This annual event is in memory of Abe Massar, a former member of Lutheran Church of the Redeemer and an avid golfer. He exemplified positive aging and played in his last tournament at age 89. Our tournament is a fitting tribute to Abe Massar who not only supported the Center for Positive Aging, but served as an example to all of us.

By supporting our annual golf tournament, you make it possible for the Center to educate and connect consumers, in particular older Georgians and their families, on how to access products, services and programs they need in their communities. Additionally, proceeds will provide educational opportunities for seniors, family caregivers, paraprofessionals, and professionals to foster support of the positive aging process as well as to empower the elderly.

Join us and play on one of the TOP 10 short courses in America!
