A positive aging experience is something we all want for ourselves, our parents and our friends. Too often, however, the bewildering array of services, providers and payment options leads to a frustrating and daunting decision-making process. Since 1982, the Center for Positive Aging has helped Atlanta-area seniors find appropriate solutions for their care and service needs. In order to meet the challenges that lie ahead, the Center recently expanded to provide its services to all Georgians. We are currently reaching out to communities to help us raise $26,000.00 for our 2009 Annual Fund Campaign. This year we honor Mr. Hugh Lynch, our volunteer Meals on Wheels coordinator, for making a difference in the community.

Each month the Center for Positive Aging provides guidance to over 200 seniors and their families. Your gift will help us reach our goal of becoming Georgia’s most trusted partner in bridging the gap between consumers and appropriate service providers across the state. Your gift will help us provide:

• Expertise on aging issues and information to navigate the available solutions
• Access to an online database of trusted service providers that meet our Quality Criteria
• Consumer advice on community-based services, seminars, home health, housing, wellness and legal programs
• Meal assistance to low-income seniors
