Congregational Affiliates benefit directly and indirectly from a relationship with the Center for Positive Aging in a variety of ways ranging from increased access to information, resources and services to expanded publicity through the Center’s publications and web site.

Up-to-date articles and information relevant to the senior population for inclusion in Congregational bulletins, newsletters, and other publications.

Publicity and promotion of programs and services through the Center’s newsletter, “Positive Aging Matters”, and through the web site and other communications.

Support services directed at low income seniors, i.e. Meals on Wheels, Medicare Part D enrollment assistance, programs in faith-based housing.

Participation by the Center for Positive Aging in Congregational Affiliates’ health & outreach fairs and special events.

How the Center for Positive Aging Benefits from the Congregational Affiliates
The Center for Positive Aging can benefit from Congregational Affiliate relationships in ways including, but not limited to:
- Access to space to conduct seminars, workshops and events
- Ongoing financial support.
- Expanded community outreach to seniors and their families through inclusion in Congregational Affiliates’ publications and Internet links to the Center for Positive Aging’s web site.
- Increased efficiency in providing programs and services to the community by working with a primary contact person assigned by the Congregational Affiliate to communicate with and coordinate activities through the Center for Positive Aging.
